About Me

Dion Mucciacito: I am an Actor/Filmmaker of Italian,Irish, Greek, Spanish, and Mexican decent (sounds crazy huh?) I was born in Anchorage Alaska. My father was a man who fought alcoholism and fires (he was a Fireman). My Mother was a woman who fought cancer (astro-cytoma of the left temporal lobe) and an abusive husband. After her death I was cast adrift on the seas of chance and passed around from relative to relative as my father, due to his alcoholism, was incapable of taking care of my brother and myself. He unfortunately lost his battle to Alcoholism when he died in drunk driving accident in 1999. This blog is a record of my life as an artist in the process of surviving all of this. From my teen years as an awkward film geek full of angst, to my post Juilliard Drama School years battling to survive as an artist... These are the stories of Odysseus and the Muse Bytes.
